The Asset Management Specialist is a skilled professional who works closely with various teams to support the company's asset lifecycle and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fulfill requests for equipment and provide support to adjoining teams.
  • Request quotes from suppliers and place orders through Coupa.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
  • Assist with onboarding of new suppliers.
  • Use inventory management systems to accurately stow/move equipment to its location in the warehouse/stockroom.
  • Set up Desk setups/Hotel Desks, War Rooms/Events and monitors.
  • Replenish stockrooms.
  • Unload shipments received to the facility.
  • Collaborate with forecasting on shipments received, including parts and quantities.
  • Receive and process equipment from suppliers and various sites.
  • Prepare equipment for shipping.
  • Utilize knowledge of OSHA Compliance.
  • Shipping software and address verification.
  • Record asset data into the system.
  • Label and stage equipment.
  • Process terms and suspend phone lines.
  • Clean computers and assign them to locations.
  • Hold assets for Data Wiping.
  • Check assets into legal hold sections, confirm weekly that holds are noted; remove hard drives.
  • Apply applicable asset retention policies.
  • Configure and deploy laptop computers (PC & Mac) for employees (FTE, Intern, & CW), upgrade laptops for FTE/Intern, replacement laptops for CWs, Break/Fix Laptops, Service Desk loaners and Event loaners, etc.
  • Deploy configured computers to remote locations within regional organizations.
  • Update internal asset management systems of record (ITAM) reflecting deployed assets.
  • Resolve issues during laptop provisioning, including but not limited to; submitting and following up on tasks for missing AD accounts for new employees and failures of Imaging Server and/or bugs with laptop images themselves.
  • Configure laptops, desktops, and tablets with specified OS, software, and hardware, appropriate for various departments.
  • Provision and configure mobile devices for new employees (FTE, Intern, & CW), upgrades for FTE/Intern, replacement phones for CWs, Break/fix phones, Help Desk loaners and Event loaners, etc.
  • Activate or deactivate mobile lines as necessary.
  • Test equipment to ensure it is non-defective prior to deployment.
  • Support Mobile Carrier needs.
  • Add or remove tethering and international data features.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Respond to mobile alerts due to usage.
  • Manage corporate enrollments and line releases.
  • Lost/Stolen Device Management:
  • Assign and remove devices from users, retrieve information from ticket systems, wipe devices from previous users, and send phones to repair vendors.
Task Management
  • Maintain proper movements and updates in Inventory Management Systems.
  • Manage individual task backlogs.
  • Manage team task backlogs and escalations, when applicable.
  • Review and report out 30% statistical random sample size of close tasks weekly for quality and timeliness of deliveries.
  • Monitor and drive task handling quality processes across teams.
  • Manage task queues to meet or exceed targets, ensure quick time to fulfillment, and maintain high quality.
  • Report trending issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, operations, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Able to work in deadline-driven environments; able to re-prioritize regularly to remain current with business needs.
  • Self-motivated; able to handle multiple responsibilities under limited supervision.
  • Experience with Coupa or similar Business Spend Management platforms.
  • Effective communication skills.
