Job Overview

The role of a Communications and Logistics Coordinator is critical in ensuring seamless operations on the drillship. This position requires an individual who can efficiently manage communication equipment, administer personnel lists, lifeboat allocations, and cabin assignments.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain emergency preparedness operations and ensure emergency boards are up-to-date.
  • Manage lifeboat and cabin allocations to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Handle external communications during safety drills and emergency situations.
  • Coordinate all helicopter operations, including passenger and cargo manifests.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and logs as required by supervisors.
  • Assist with conducting regular drills and checks.
  • Provide thorough handovers at each shift change.

Requirements

This role requires individuals with strong organizational and communication skills. They should have experience in maintaining POB systems, testing GDMSS equipment, and following corporate delegation of authority matrices.

Qualifications
