Job Overview

To maintain the operational efficiency and effectiveness of a control room function, we are seeking an individual to oversee security operations, ensure compliance with policies and standards, and effectively manage daily tasks.

This position is responsible for monitoring multiple systems, coordinating responses to incidents, and maintaining a secure environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and make decisions in fast-paced situations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist management in control monitoring processes and compile relevant data.
  2. Effectively manage day-to-day operations of the Control Room, supervise and deploy guards on shift, ensuring all security operations are duly carried out.
  3. Monitor multiple access control, CCTV, Fire Alarm and other alarm systems interfacing with multiple sets of phones, computers and operating systems available in a control room environment.
  4. Provide first-line response for all incidents, assessing seriousness and ensuring appropriate support/response is available to staff and affected area.
  5. Responsible for all authorised entries into the site and site security and safety outside normal working hours.
Requirements

  • Have at least 'O' level standard of education.
  • Abel to relay routine information clearly and concisely internally and to contractors and customers.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and ability to work in a team.
Work Environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
