An Exciting Security Role

We are seeking a skilled Security Shift Controller to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective day-to-day running of our Control Room function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist line management in monitoring processes, including compilation of relevant metrics and KPIs.
  • Effectively manage day-to-day operations of the Control Room and supervise guards on shift, ensuring all security operations are duly carried out.
  • Ensure compliance with operational risk controls and company policies and standards.
  • Promote an environment that supports cooperation between team members and contributes towards high operational efficiency.
  • Provide first-line response for incidents and assess their seriousness, ensuring appropriate support or response is available.
  • Responsible for authorized entries into site and site security and safety outside normal working hours.

Requirements:

  • 'O' level standard of education.
  • Ability to work in secure environment and make decisions independently to resolve security situations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills and ability to work in team.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft office-based products, with emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven decision-making, persuasion, analytical, organizational, and planning skills in fast-paced environment.
