The Customer Service Associate delivers an exceptional shopping experience for customers. Their responsibilities include assisting with queries and product recommendations, managing sales transactions, maintaining cash security and protecting company assets, as well as fostering a positive and respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide assistance to customers on product-related inquiries
- Process sales transactions at designated checkout points
- Maintain the security of cash and safeguard company assets
- Ensure efficient inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise in accordance with set productivity standards
- Contribute to creating a safe, clean, and welcoming store environment by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping floors, taking out trash, and ensuring all areas are tidy and presentable
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is highly valued
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is necessary
- Must be able to lift objects weighing between 30-50 pounds from floor to shoulder height, meeting demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients
