We are seeking a talented Associate Director to join our team in a senior leadership role. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating meaningful partnerships with donors, securing financial support for university priorities, and developing strategies to qualify, cultivate, and solicit major gift-rated prospects.
Key responsibilities include developing relationships with major gift donors and prospective major gift donors, securing a minimum of $1 million annually in philanthropic support, and becoming familiar with institutional fundraising priorities. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and project management abilities, and proficiency with donor database systems and Microsoft Office.
The position requires a Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience, as well as five to eight years of related work experience in a development position. A valid Driver's License is also required. Weekend and evening work, as well as extensive travel, are necessary for this role.
