Job Summary:

As a Software Support Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team that works on Linux-based infrastructure and applications. Your primary responsibility will be to resolve complex customer problems related to Ubuntu, Kernel, Ceph, OpenStack, or Kubernetes and other open source software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve complex technical issues
  • Maintain close working relationships with internal teams
  • Participate in upstream communities
  • Develop bug fixes and work with upstream for inclusion
  • Review code produced by other engineers
  • Demonstrate good judgment in technical methods and techniques
  • Prioritize work effectively
  • Communicate clearly and concisely

Requirements:

  • Exceptional academic track record
  • Background in Computer Science or similar field
  • Experience with Linux and open source software
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, C, or C++
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
