Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and exceed individual Sales and Profit Budgets: Ensure that all costs related to orders are strictly controlled and that sales targets are consistently met.
  • Provide exceptional customer service: Identify and resolve customer issues within standard guidelines, ensuring that customer satisfaction is consistently high.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers: Provide professional presentations to customers, initiate product development, and source new concepts in collaboration with the Operations team.
  • Manage and maintain accurate customer databases: Liaise with suppliers, negotiate prices, and process orders and invoices.
  • Communicate order status to all departments: Ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain accurate customer files.
  • Participate in industry trade shows: Develop and maintain business relationships, improve product knowledge, and identify opportunities to increase sales.
  • Submit reports to the Sales Manager: Provide timely and accurate reports, including customer meeting reports, forecasts, and monthly sales reports.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the promotional goods / print industry: A strong understanding of the industry and its trends.
  • Strong team attitude: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, and to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
