The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the sales and profitability of our operations in Brazil.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a business strategy to drive growth and process improvements.
- Lead the team in developing and executing plans to aggressively grow sales, service, customer-installed base, and market share.
- Maintain industry familiarity through robust relationships to gain an authoritative understanding of sales and marketing opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships with customers and key account opportunities.
- Develop a high-performing team that leverages technology and is powered by diversity and inclusion.
- Identify opportunities to "raise the bar" for individuals and the team by instilling their value-selling vision, implementing clear winning metrics, and performance scorecards.
- Define commercial strategy with clear impact on recurring and non-recurring revenue.
- Increase sales revenue through new customer acquisition, upselling, and cross-selling/expanding to existing customers.
- Develop and monitor performance against forecasts and plans to ensure achievement of results through execution of growth tools and standard work.
- Maintain a deep understanding of local competition tactics and behavior.
- Inform competitive global intelligence and develop local tactics and countermeasures to sustain compliant market share improvement.
- Ensure success of new product launches by overseeing development and implementation of impactful product launch plans.
- Create sustainable capability within the commercial organization by identifying improvement opportunities and leading kaizen activities.
- Foster long-term relationships with customers, improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Leverage data analytics to gain insights into customer behavior, sales performance, and market trends to inform local strategic decisions.
- Build partnerships with Channel Partners to expand reach and access new customer bases.
- Identify opportunities to accelerate growth via enhanced market visibility, entering new markets segments or industries.
- Build relationships and represent the company with large Strategic customers/Govt bodies/Industry forums/Regulators.
- Collaborate with global product management to drive development of new products based on market-validated needs.
- Meet or exceed all CVD targets including growth, operating margin expansion, quality, delivery, cost, associate retention, internal fill rate, working capital, and return on invested capital.
- Lead development of and manage the annual operating plan and forecasts, operating within budgets, including achieving regional P&L.
- Lead organization and talent initiatives to build and develop a world-class diverse and engaged workforce with strong leadership and succession capabilities.
- Create a team culture of fun and high energy where team members can do their best work.
- Hire top talent ahead of the curve and develop talent who can contribute to growth in Brazil.
- Invest in training and development programs to improve skills and effectiveness of the sales team.
- Atract high-quality talent through various talent initiatives and high-impact development interventions.
- Build a more inclusive company in Brazil in partnership with Global teams.
- Reinforce VES discipline and growth mind-set related to achievement.
