IT Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective support to our users.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of end-user computing equipment and peripherals. You will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with users at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site and remote support to users with operational and technical issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates and hardware checks.
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Document and track user requests and issues using our ticketing system.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in IT support.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese.
  • Good knowledge of AD and smart hands and feet support.
  • Experience with imaging tools and data backup and recovery tools.
  • Familiarity with Service management tool - ex-Service now.
  • Strong understanding of EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Lync, VPN, and mobile device support.
  • Understanding of ITIL process of Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request, and related activities like spare and buffer stock management.
