Education Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Education Support Specialist to join our team at Red House International School. As a key member of our educational community, you will provide essential support to our Head Teachers in teaching classes, preparing content, and managing students in school environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in classes, sharing guidance with the Head Teacher to enhance learning.
  • Assist the Head Teacher in distributing and collecting materials.
  • Participate in implementing didactic-pedagogical projects by the school.
  • Keep the classroom organized with materials requested by the Head Teacher.
  • Be responsible for decorating walls, doors, tables, and bulletin boards around the school.
  • Adapt activities for students with special educational needs.
  • Ensure safety by constantly staying with students, observing, guiding, and intervening when necessary to avoid accidents.
  • Receive students at the entrance and exit of the school, paying attention to safety standards.
  • Accompany students at meal times, ensuring everyone eats well.
  • Be responsible for managing the class in times of absence or temporary unavailability of the Head Teacher.
  • Record student activities through videos and photos and send them to the Head Teacher within the previously established deadline.
  • Participate in Academic Meetings, educational conferences, and development workshops.
  • Attend school events open to families.
  • Follow RED HOUSE general guidelines (Language Policy, Teachers' Handbook, Assessment Policy).

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: Attending or graduated in Pedagogy.
  • Experience:
    • Desirable 2 years of classroom experience.
    • Experience with Early Childhood Education.

Language and Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in English.
  • Bilingualism.
  • Early Childhood education (specific for Early Childhood Education).

Desirable Knowledge:

  • IB Methodology.
  • Child Development.
