The role of the Technical Product Manager is multifaceted, requiring strong leadership skills to drive product development forward while ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and technical standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for major system issues and product-related inquiries
- Gather and document client and stakeholder requirements through effective communication and collaboration
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure readiness for development, making informed decisions based on data-driven insights
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and other team meetings to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Closely collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure product quality, accurate implementation, and smooth releases
- Communicate the value of new features to internal stakeholders and clients through clear and compelling storytelling
- Oversight and mentorship of the Product Owner team, encompassing goal-setting, project assignments, and performance evaluations to promote growth and success
- Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and industry standards by staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices
- Handle system certification processes (e.g., ONC, Surescripts, MDToolbox/DEA) to maintain regulatory integrity
- Provide guidance and oversight for MIPS services aligned with financial and strategic objectives
- Ensure regulatory compliance and manage escalations in a timely and effective manner
- Coordinate with Reg-ENT and leadership, delivering financial reporting and training new staff on MIPS-related tasks
- Proven experience in conducting user research and synthesizing insights through user flows, personas, and other methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, distinguish between critical roadblocks and distractions, and make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to inform product decisions and drive business outcomes
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the judgment to know when to seek guidance and support
