
Regional Communications Director

Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy to drive business success in South America.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of regional communication plans that align with global objectives.
- Manage a team of communications professionals, fostering collaboration and driving high-performing results.
- Develop and coordinate internal and external communication strategies, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media and stakeholders to support effective communication and engagement.
- Oversee social media presence and digital communication strategies, leveraging the power of online platforms to reach target audiences.
- Plan and execute communication strategies for key events, providing guidance on event management and crisis communication.
- Develop and implement crisis communication strategies to protect and manage the company's reputation during adverse events.
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies to ensure employees are informed and engaged with company initiatives and updates.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Oversee the work of external agencies, ensuring their output aligns with the company's communication goals and standards.
- Regularly measure and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and activities, using KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
**Requirements:
• Proven experience in communications, media, and content event management.
• Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques, including branding, media, editorial, web, internal, crisis communications, etc.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills to manage competing projects and priorities.
• Strong business acumen, with understanding of digital communications channels and the power of social media.
• Fluency in English - both spoken and written to native level. Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is an advantage.
