Lead HR Generalist Job Description

This is a challenging role that requires an experienced professional to lead the human resources function in the Americas region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results and foster a positive work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and experience in leading initiatives across regions within a technology business. They will also have knowledge of local labor laws, competitive awareness, and insights into regional HR practices.

The Lead HR Generalist will serve as a key partner to senior stakeholders, providing guidance on HR-related matters and driving business outcomes through data-driven decisions. They will also be responsible for mentoring and developing others, ensuring that the HR function is aligned with the company's overall strategy.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and create an HR function for the future, working closely with a global team of HR professionals. You will be accountable for delivering precise and compliant HR operations, interacting with the Americas HR Manager and the Global Head of HR, and partnering with people managers to support the delivery of appropriate training and development programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Exceptional academic track record from high school and university
  • HR experience leading initiatives across regions within a technology business
  • Regional HR experience within Latin America (Brazil and/or Mexico is a plus)
  • Experience in business partnering with senior stakeholders
  • A good balance between leading and executing
  • Experience mentoring and developing others
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to define done and keep deliverables on track
  • Experience working in a remote-first organization
  • Able to leverage data to make informed decisions
