We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the position of Rare Disease Patient Program Liaison. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of patient needs.

The Rare Disease Patient Program Liaison will be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement key initiatives that improve treatment adherence and outcomes. This includes mapping potential tools and materials that can add value to the program, identifying barriers to implementation, and collaborating with Medical Operations to mitigate such barriers.

This role also involves working closely with patients and caregivers to understand their unmet needs and identify opportunities to improve their quality of life through UCB's initiatives. The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate the benefits of our Patient Support Programs and ensure seamless execution of PSP activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating leadership behavior by keeping patients at the center of initiatives and prioritizing activities to achieve objectives aligned with UCB values
  • Liaising and coordinating with Medical Lead, Access team, and Commercial lead to collaborate on key Patient Support Program (PSP) initiatives
  • Maintaining excellence in execution of PSP activities in collaboration with Medical Operations while continuing to explore opportunities to innovate and improve treatment adherence and outcomes

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Life sciences, pharmacy, or medicine etc…
  • Desirable Master's and Ph.D;
  • Deep understanding of rare disease patient journey;
  • Fluent English;
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is mandatory;
  • Reside in São Paulo;
  • Willingness to travel.
