Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned professional to serve as Associate Director, Engagement Strategy. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in fostering strong connections between our institution and alumni from historically underrepresented communities.

About the Role
  • Develop and coordinate programs that engage underrepresented alumni populations
  • Lead efforts to foster strong connections between our institution and alumni from historically underrepresented communities
  • Elevate the importance of alumni volunteer groups amongst all engagement strategies
  • Collaborate with Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) and university partners to identify and elevate alumni leaders for volunteer roles
  • Maintain a structured, transparent, and welcoming volunteer board structure
  • Design event strategies aligned with our institutional goals
  • Participate in major campus and alumni events
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three to five years of related work experience
  • Experience in higher education, community activism, or non-profits preferred
  • Prior experience working with diversity programs and community organizing preferred
  • Ability to complete projects on time and on budget, and report on status and progress
