Senior Business Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Business Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a key liaison between business and technical stakeholders, you will facilitate the gathering and definition of business requirements through various methods.

• Business Requirements Gathering: Serve as the primary point of contact between Product Management and TR tech teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.

• Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze and interpret business requirements, performing current, target, gap, and impact analyses to identify opportunities for process improvement.

• User Story Development: Translate business requirements into detailed user stories that are understood by all stakeholders, both business and technical, ensuring seamless execution.

• Process Optimization: Analyze business partner operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses, determining opportunities to automate processes and functions.

• Business Process Redesign: Assist in business process redesign and documentation, as needed, for new technology initiatives, driving efficiency and effectiveness.

• Client Interviews: Conduct client interviews to capture requirements and build prototypes to validate assumptions, ensuring stakeholder buy-in.

• Documentation: Prepare documents such as business and functional requirement documents, user stories, use cases, use case models, gap analysis, process models, workflows, and data flows, facilitating clear communication.

• Tech Expertise: Apply a broad knowledge of various business processes, functions, and technical expertise to accurately anticipate organizational impacts, making informed decisions.

• Quality Assurance: Actively participate in wireframe, prototyping, and software design sessions, ensuring high-quality solutions.

• Test Planning: Assist in quality assurance test plan and test outline review to ensure proposed testing effort is consistent with requirement definition, driving successful project outcomes.

• Communication: Write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections, as well as manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures, promoting effective knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of business analyst experience within IT, driving business value.

• Functional expertise in transaction and/or web-based business applications, leveraging technical knowledge.

• Proficient in requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation, workflow analysis, and process modeling, ensuring efficient processes.

• Deep knowledge of UI/UX design and development, applying creative problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in creating conceptual modeling deliverables such as wireframes, process models, and other diagrams, facilitating system design and compelling client understanding.

• Experience performing statistical and data analysis, driving data-driven decision-making.

• Experience leading and negotiating business solutions through collaborative discussions with business and IT partners, fostering partnerships.

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in a cross-functional environment, navigating complex challenges.

• Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interface, both written and verbally, with a wide variety of people, building relationships.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Visio and PowerPoint, utilizing tools effectively.

• Past experience with BDD and Scenario Testing, applying testing expertise.

• Advanced/fluent English, enabling effective communication.

• Experience with financial processes, driving business acumen.
