Human Resources Generalist Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HR professional to fill a pivotal role within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to leaders and employees across departments, driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead and coordinate payroll operations in accordance with labor laws and internal controls, ensuring seamless execution and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on tax, auditing, and payroll inquiries, fostering open communication and informed decision-making.
  • Advise on HR policies, processes, and compliance, partnering with the legal department as needed to ensure alignment and adherence.
  • Support talent development, including new hires, promotions, transfers, and compensation, promoting growth and engagement.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Mobility, and Learning & Development to meet leadership and employee development needs, driving business success.
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues through thorough and objective investigations, maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  • Support integration activities for mergers and acquisitions, organizational change, and other business initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Contribute to HR projects, round tables, and reporting initiatives, providing valuable insights and expertise.
  • Manage local and international transfers, facilitating employee mobility and career advancement.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of payroll systems, labor compliance, and HR best practices, with a focus on process improvement and innovation.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, driving results-oriented solutions and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with HRIS tools like Workday or SAP, plus Excel and PowerPoint, with a proven ability to adapt and learn quickly.
  • Fluency in English, with Spanish proficiency highly valued in this role.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is a desirable asset.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in HR Generalist roles, with a strong emphasis on payroll and employee relations, and a track record of delivering exceptional results.
