Job Summary

The Export Customer Experience Representative plays a critical role in processing sales orders for internal customers, ensuring timely shipment and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, software familiarity, and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including Planners, Global Customer Service Representatives, Compliance, and shipping locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process sales orders received through EDI functionality, ensuring accuracy in order entry, shipping, billing, and documentation.
  • Assist LZ Subsidiaries with export inquiries related to INCOTERMS, payment terms, and transportation modes.
  • Provide basic supply chain support to terminals, warehouses, or other source points, including SAP support and documentation assistance.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Scheduling groups to strategize and implement plans to address supply situations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation instructions for freight forwarders to send documents correctly.
  • Manage export bookings, corresponding with steamship lines, air carriers, and freight forwarders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and coworkers through timeliness, accuracy, and dependability.
  • Identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement throughout the order handling process.
  • Participate in audits and contribute to the group's success by sharing knowledge and experiences with others.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; additional qualifications and experience in logistics, international trade, and export regulations preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of customer service experience, including 2 years of SAP user experience.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Fluent in English, with additional languages such as Spanish preferred.
