Manufacturing Operations Lead

The role of Manufacturing Operations Lead at Ball Corporation involves overseeing the daily operations of a manufacturing plant, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and driving productivity growth.

This includes responsibility for:

  • Maintaining a culture of excellence in EHS behaviors across the plant.
  • Providing oversight for operations management teams including production, engineering, maintenance, quality, and safety.
  • Ensuring plant performance aligns with customer requirements and product specifications.
  • Collaborating with the leadership team to maximize efficiency in profit, productivity, and cost.
  • Benchmarking with other plants to optimize and exceed objectives.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Leading the selection, training, growth, and development of personnel.
  • Supporting positive employee relations, including union negotiations if applicable.
  • Establishing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinating activities and projects to maintain optimal customer service levels.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A completed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Advanced/Fluent English language skills.
  • Leadership experience in high-speed manufacturing/packaging.
  • Experience in matrixed/high-growth organizations.
