Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Analyst to join our team at Cepheid. As a key member of our support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our products and providing exceptional customer service.
About the Role
This is a dynamic position that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering top-notch support to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and continuously improving our support processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and effective technical support to customers via phone, email, or other channels;
- Collaborate with Field Service, Sales, Marketing, and Quality Assurance teams to drive continuous improvement efforts;
- Maintain product knowledge and stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in the field;
- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, escalating as needed;
- Develop and maintain training materials and documentation to ensure seamless handoffs;
- Prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedicine, Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Engineering (Biochemical/Mechanical/Electrical), or related courses;
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service, technical support, service, or product support role;
- Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken) required; Spanish is a plus;
- Experience working for or partnering with US-based Life Sciences/Diagnostic/Medical Device Companies is a plus.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively;
- Curious and self-motivated with the ability to learn complex technology platforms quickly;
- Ability to work independently in a structured manner, prioritizing critical tasks, and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
