Job Title: Customer Service Ambassador

The role of a customer service associate is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with queries and recommendations.
  • Manage sales transactions while operating assigned cash registers.
  • Maintain the security of cash and protect company assets.
  • Ensure the store remains well-stocked, and merchandise is recovered efficiently.
  • Receive and unload merchandise from trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and positive environment by interacting professionally with customers, colleagues, and leaders.
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in retail, hotels, restaurants, grocery stores, or pharmacies, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is essential.
  • Must be able to lift between 30-50 pounds from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills are critical.
