Financial Leadership Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the financial strategy for a high-growth organization, overseeing FP&A, Investor Relations, and Controllership.
  • Drive business decisions with data-driven insights, allocating capital effectively to maximize ROI/ROIC.
Financial Planning and Analysis
  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive operating model, including budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning.
  2. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as AOV, GM%, CAC/LTV, payback, and retention cohorts, to inform strategic decisions.
  3. Prepare and present ROI/ROIC cases for investments in SKUs, channels, inventory, and marketing initiatives.
  4. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders, leveraging data to drive business outcomes.
Accounting & Controllership
  1. Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
  2. Produce cash and accrual views, reconciling statutory vs. management reporting.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures, maintaining a clean chart of accounts and ensuring revenue recognition, COGS/inventory controls, and 3PL, AP/AR, bank reconciliations.
  4. Manage compliance and ancillary filings, maintaining documentation and records.
Investor Relations
  1. Design and deliver a monthly fund/investor report, highlighting key KPIs, narrative, drivers, and risks.
  2. Support fundraising and diligence efforts with data-driven analysis, including cohort/LTV analysis, CAC trends, working capital, and inventory turns.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Controllership, investment banking, management consulting, or finance roles at hypergrowth, venture-backed companies; CPG/e-commerce a plus.
  • Fluent English, strong analytical, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, SQL/BI a plus.
