Cybersecurity Specialist

The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for uncovering and analyzing emerging cyber threats. This role requires a deep understanding of malware trends, threat intelligence, and information security best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze malware trends at local, regional, and global levels
- Develop and maintain threat intelligence products to enhance our company's defenses
- Present IT security insights to various audiences, including the cybersecurity community, customers, and journalists
- Participate in interviews discussing cybersecurity trends and topics
- Contribute to the development of internal infrastructure requirements and recommended practices
- Ensure the proper level of information security across all devices used with our company's infrastructure
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to analyze and understand malicious code (Windows PE, .Net, OLE2, JS, VBS, HTML, PDF, SWF, ELF)
- Good knowledge of Intel x86 assembler
- Proficiency in using IDA or Ghidra for reverse engineering
- Strong understanding of Windows PE file format
- Experience in using C/C++/C#/Java/Python/Go/Rust programming languages
- Knowledge of TCP/IP sockets and Linux API/kernel/POSIX fundamentals
- Technical article writing skills
