Public Affairs Manager

Job Description

As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in advancing the interests of our Specialty Care business. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement public affairs strategies that drive growth and support our affiliate business objectives.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Market Access, Communications, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Commercial, Legal, E&BI, IP, and others, to analyze and advocate for public policies that benefit our business.

Your expertise will be sought after to design, support, and implement public affairs initiatives that enhance our institutional perception and build bridges between stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute institutional engagement plans related to Sanofi's vaccine franchises business objectives;
  • Map, design, and implement selected legislative strategies (cities/states level) to create a positive environment for access improvement;
  • Manage and develop institutional relationships with non-governmental organizations representatives, health coalitions, trade associations, local societies, among others;
  • Lead projects and initiatives with all non-governmental bodies;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement access and commercial strategies in the public and private market;
  • Provide analysis of the political and healthcare scenarios to inform strategic decision-making;
  • Enhance relationship with Public Affairs Global team, exchanging best practices, aligning business critical topics, and developing collaborative initiatives;
  • Comply with internal policies and internal controls to ensure transparency and compliance during engagements and projects execution involving external stakeholders;
  • Promote a cross-sector culture and ways of work to enhance Public Affairs positioning inside the organization across Specialty Care Business Units and Sanofi Global Business Units.
Requirements
  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with the principles of Ethics and Integrity, Sanofi policies, and codes of conduct that regulate the pharmaceutical market;
  • Comply with and promote Sanofi Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies to prevent accidents, avoid health risks, and promote employee well-being.
