This role requires a compassionate and professional individual to collect blood donations from volunteer donors.
- Process donors through their donor process using computer systems, including screening and whole blood phlebotomy.
- Ensure donor safety by adhering to all standard procedures and regulatory standards.
- Set up equipment and supplies, complete daily quality control checks, and ensure all necessary tools are available before each collection event.
Candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Medical Assistant Certification or Phlebotomy Certification is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and office software, such as Microsoft Office.
Part-time position with a flexible schedule, working on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Full-time training is provided for two weeks, Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Schedule is provided two weeks in advance.
