
Technical Business Development Specialist

This role is key to the success of our business, as well as contract manufacturing in strategic customers with an outstanding position in the market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing business between Eaton and customer, leveraging new business and ensuring the sustainable maintenance of current businesses that are consistent with the plans, strategic objectives, and growth of the region.
We are looking for a skilled professional who can support and participate in the Strategic Management of Customers on a local basis. They will also be responsible for supporting the organization's internal demands and resources to ensure accurate and timely information, so that plans, objectives, and strategic decisions are taken by senior leadership with confidence and a high degree of success.
The successful candidate will have technical knowledge of the business involving drawings, manufacturing, performing requirements, and metallurgical specifications to evaluate new opportunities with accuracy.
Responsibilities include:
1) Promoting Eaton solutions in an appropriate manner meeting customer needs by positioning Eaton as a preferred and valued supplier to each of our customers;
2) Developing relationships at all internal levels of the organization, including engineering, manufacturing, finance, and local leadership;
3) Engineering support to main customers being responsible to analyze and drive actions internally;
4) Supporting and participating in the definition of local opportunities, being part of the Growth Strategy, sharing local information;
5) Managing the C360 with all growth opportunities in a systematic and rigorous manner;
6) Supporting and preparing the quotation process through team coordination, meetings leadership, critical analysis, alignment of expected results, timing, visibility, and consequently reliable, accurate, and strategic information for submission for approval by the leadership;
7) Providing analyzes on contracts, purchase orders, general terms and conditions, and/or any other document in order to ensure the best conditions for the business, mitigating contractual risks for Eaton;
8) Deeply caring about profitability, supporting actions to assure that all internal areas work towards the same goal;
9) Ensuring that Eaton's Code of Ethics applies to all customers;
Qualifications required include:
- An engineering or economics degree and related areas;
- Experience in the automotive or auto parts industry;
- Advanced English language skills (reading, writing, and speaking);
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI;
Desirable technical knowledge includes good knowledge in marketing, finance, and powertrain engineering; technical knowledge/background to critical analysis on customer requirements: metallurgical, process, tests validation, etc.
