**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving purchasing practices, negotiating with suppliers, and managing supplier relationships.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Negotiate price, align strategy with global commodities leaders, analyze trends, and expedite orders within functional area of responsibilities.
- Manage supplier base seeking the best solution related to Cost, quality and delivery.
- Prepare reports and other correspondence for use by Eaton SCM professionals.
- Lead Cost Out projects implementation interfacing with other operational and functional areas.
- Control Capex for commodities under responsibility.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or other relevant field.
- Experience in procurement area in automotive industry.
- Experience with direct purchases and commodity purchases (Forgings, Mechanical Assemblies, Chemicals, Synchronizer components, Powder Metal, Engineering Polymers, Stampings, Machined Parts, Fasteners, Bearings).
- Advanced English skills for conversation.
- Experience on negotiation and development with global suppliers.
- Drive for results, change & adaptability and leveraging resources.
**Qualifications:**
- Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish is desirable;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
