Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at the Hillcrest store. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, excellent numerical skills, and a basic understanding of customer service principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service at the point of sale, ensuring a world-class shopping experience.
  • Record customer transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Manage cash flow, handle daily takings confidentially, and maintain a secure environment.
  • Process sales, refunds, and payments, including loyalty cards and other forms of payment.
  • Adhere to Dis-Chem's security policies and procedures, reporting suspicious behavior to management.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in cashier/till operations.
  • Computer literate, with a strong command of MS Office.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic customer service skills and a strong command of the English language.
