The role of an ESS Technical Solution Engineer combines application engineering and sales expertise. This position requires a technical solution engineer to demonstrate product functions, technical benefits, and value to customers, helping them achieve their business goals and win projects. By combining technical knowledge with strong communication and interpersonal skills, the technical solution engineer works closely with clients to understand their specific needs and leverages in-depth understanding of the company's products or services to provide tailored solutions that meet those needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Demonstration: Deeply understand the company's products and be able to explain complex technical concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
- Client Engagement: Interact directly with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and requirements, engaging in discussions to gather information and analyze client projects and requirements.
- Solution Development: Develop solutions that align with client projects, collaborating with the technical team to design tailored solutions that address specific challenges.
- Proposal Creation: Create detailed proposals outlining the proposed solution and its benefits, addressing both technical aspects and business value for the client.
- Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support to clients, answering questions, addressing concerns, and helping with any technical issues that arise.
- Technical Agreement Negotiations: Involve in negotiations with clients to clarify expectations and ensure alignment on the proposed solution.
- Risk Assessment and Problem Solving: Identify possible issues ahead and provide preventative solutions for risks, resolving technical issues during manufacturing, delivery, and commissioning until successfully handing over to the customer.
Requirements and Skills Include:
- At least 2 years' work experience in the local ESS market.
- Previous experience as an Application Engineer (AE) or Sales Engineer (SE) in the ESS market is advantageous.
- Previous experience in utility or ESS developer companies is advantageous.
- Knowledge of local ESS project development requirements is advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent market and competitor analysis abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Superb collaboration and communication skills.
- Superb logical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Proficient in English and Portuguese.
