Material Handling Systems Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and customer-focused Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering process equipment solutions to various industries.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Design and deliver process equipment solutions to meet customer needs
- Evaluate customer material handling projects and provide expert recommendations
- Determine appropriate pricing and create quotations for system components
- Foster strong relationships with customers and field sales personnel
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers and colleagues
- Direct response to customer inquiries regarding technical matters
- Evaluation of customer's material handling project requirements
- Designing material handling systems to meet customer specifications
- Pricing and quoting system components
- Negotiating with customers to secure orders
- Supporting field sales personnel in their efforts to close deals
- Reviewing and correcting quotations generated by field sales personnel
- Providing pricing information on custom components of material handling systems
- Answering field sales customers' questions about applications of material handling equipment
- Elements of overall project management
- Obtaining pricing information on equipment not manufactured by us, for incorporation into material handling systems supplied by us
- Serving as liaison between customers and our organization when questions arise during production of material handling systems
- Traveling to support sales activity by meeting with potential customer prospects and discussing future projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required (4 years preferred) in Mechanical Engineering or similar from an accredited educational institute
- Minimum 2+ years of technical sales experience
- Knowledge of and ability to use standard computer applications including MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
