We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and be part of a dynamic group.

The ideal candidate will have experience in electro-mechanical fields, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining an automated material handling system, troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring rapid equipment return to serviceability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all systems and subsystems of the automated material handling system during normal operation and perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and inspections during periodic downtime windows.
  • Use schematic and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot autonomous robotic vehicles and other components of an integrated automation system.
  • Ensure rapid equipment return to serviceability by performing thorough in-depth troubleshooting on any non-functioning or faulted system, subsystem or component.
  • Remove and replace mechanical or electro-mechanical parts of the conveyor system such as broken chain, belting, rollers, drive motors; realign or replace control system sensors (photo-eyes), proximity sensors, etc.
  • Replace electrical or mechanical components of autonomous robots and perform preventive maintenance. Proficient in performing Preventive Maintenance on multi-axis robots and End Of Arm Tools.
