About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Specialist, Mining to join our Americas team in Brazil. Based in Belo Horizonte, you will play a key support role for customers of our intuitive open-pit mine planning solution, Micromine Alastri.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers during pre-sales demonstrations, trade shows, and other promotional events
  • Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Create and present strategic technical demonstrations to customers with a solution and value focus
  • Provide training to current and new software users
  • Liaise with the product development team and software users during the software design cycle
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for open-pit mine scheduling for Micromine in Brazil

About You

You will have a background in operational mining roles, and/or experience working for a mining technology company. Other key skills, experience, and qualifications include:

  • A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering
  • Experience with Open Pit mining
  • Experience with mine planning and scheduling
  • Experience with using general purpose mining software
  • The ability to travel, nationally or internationally, to manage Micromine Alastri implementations
  • English (conversational/professional fluency) and Portuguese (native fluency) speaking skills
