Senior Cybersecurity Advisor

The World Food Programme is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join its Technology Division in Rome, Italy. As a key member of the team, you will provide expert guidance and support to ensure the effective delivery of cyber advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise in cybersecurity to support the daily operations of the Cybersecurity Advisory and Protection Services team.
- Act as a liaison between cybersecurity functions, technical branches, and business units to integrate cybersecurity into organizational processes and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and implement comprehensive security standards, frameworks, policies, and guidelines to elevate the organization's overall security maturity.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of progressively responsible work experience in information security, including advisory or consulting roles, policy development, and working with internal audit or investigations units.
- Fluency in English language and intermediate knowledge of a second official UN language.
