Infrastructure Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing robust IBM Power infrastructure, ensuring continuous system tuning and analysis.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Provide technical expertise throughout the software development lifecycle including design, implementation and delivery.
  • Advanced knowledge of Unix Shell scripts, Python, Ansible automation etc.,
  • Experience in handling IBM Power hardwares and related products
  • Expertise in AIX Operating System Maintenance.
  • Expertise in PowerVM, VIOS, Power Firmware and HMC Maintenance.
  • Expertise in GPFS Maintenance.
  • Systems Management agents/tools Maintenance and testing.
  • Familiarity with open-source development model of project coordination and related tools, for bug tracking and source code control.
  • Knowledge of security related technologies, as pertains to system lockdown, Cyber protection and authentication/entitlement/encryption technologies.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
  • Strong quality assurance & system and performance testing experience.
  • Technical writing & documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals.
  • Understanding cloud, virtualization, APIs, and modern software languages
