Role Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished sales professional to join our team in acquiring new clients for Business Banking and Small & Medium Enterprise propositions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To onboard new-to-bank clients under the Business Banking proposition while maintaining revenue thresholds.
  • To ensure all new-to-bank client enrollments to the straight-to-bank digital platform.
  • To execute sales and marketing strategies for Business Banking, cross-selling multiple retail banking products at the time of onboarding new-to-bank Business Banking clients.
  • To engage with high-profile SME/MM entities through promotions/road shows or lead deposits provided by segments.

Main Objectives:

  • To connect with clients, understand their financial requirements, and provide solutions (need-based selling).
  • To offer superior service to all customers and potential customers.
  • To achieve assigned balanced scorecard targets while providing excellent customer service.
  • To initiate discussions to cross-sell mortgages, wealth, and insurance products.
  • To look for creative ways to canvass opportunities, working together with senior colleagues.

Essential Skills:

  • A proven track record in a target-driven sales role, including demonstrated success.
  • Corporate engagement, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Negotiation and objection handling skills.
  • Excellent business acumen in risk assessment.
  • Prior experience in the financial services industry would be an advantage.
  • Proven experience in sales business planning.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.

Additional Requirements:

  • Compliance with applicable money laundering prevention/KYC/CDD procedures as per group guidelines.
  • Maintenance of proper conduct and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Effective management of stakeholder relationships.
