Aviation Security Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Security Manager to join our team. As an Aviation Security Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to our in-house screening operations.

  • Develop and implement strategic solutions to address evolving operational processes.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to develop security solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Manage information from various reporting tools to determine and manage risks.
  • Participate in the onboarding and knowledge transfer of regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to support incidents and events.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in aviation security, aviation regulatory, or transportation/supply chain operations, and relevant certifications such as CPP, PSP, or CFE.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Anticipate customer needs by understanding their business, areas of opportunity, and concern.
  • Develop weekly and quarterly business reviews to provide clear visibility into team focus and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to develop security solutions that facilitate business objectives.
  • Oversee and support the development and presentation of data, metrics, and KPIs to internal and external customers and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with local and federal regulatory agencies to support customers and stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree in one of the following disciplines; aviation security, aviation regulatory or transportation/supply chain operations;
- Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or Customs security badges, if applicable;
- Effective communications, influence and negotiate priorities, determines where to simplify or extend solutions for the best outcome, and drives Kaizens and other best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet business needs;
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certification(s) in Security Operations;
- Aviation security experience;
- Aviation Regulatory Security Compliance experience, specifically with TSA or US Customs;
- Strong leadership skills and knowledge; ability to influence change and drive desired outcomes in a matrix structured organization;
- Ability to independently manage through ambiguity and handle changing priorities, to effectively prioritize, multitask, and exercise good judgment;
