Job Overview

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead technical teams and contribute to product strategy. Your primary goal is to optimize the productivity of software engineering teams and deliver projects from scoping to full production landing.


Responsibilities:
  • Manage project goals, contribute to product strategy, and help develop teams.
  • Hire, coach, and mentor engineers to design and implement scalable and reliable services.
  • Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity of the team and organization.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects from scoping to full production landing.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of products.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
  • Experience in developing software applications using TypeScript.
  • Experience with type systems, object-oriented programming, and JavaScript frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Angular TypeScript, JavaScript, and data visualization.
  • Experience with back-end technologies using Java.
  • Experience writing front-end tests with a framework.
  • Experience designing and implementing efficient large-scale distributed systems through the full project life-cycle.
  • Experience with web services and API ecosystems, or client-server environments.
