About the Services Sales Team:

The SAP Services Sales Team is responsible for promoting innovative solutions that assist clients in adopting the latest SAP technologies. The Services Sales Intern will support the team by:

  • Implementing proactive demand generation strategies to acquire new contacts and follow up on incoming leads, nurturing them into high-quality business opportunities.
  • Utilizing modern sales techniques such as digital outreach, video communication, and social selling in collaboration with sales teams.
  • Driving customer engagement, transforming interest into opportunities, and passing qualified leads to sales representatives for closure.
  • Coordinating joint sales initiatives with sales executives and partners, refining campaign concepts, and enhancing efficiency through informed customer selection based on current market data.
  • Building expertise in specific industries and/or products.

The intern will also assist in the commercial process to facilitate the progression and closure of service opportunities. Successful candidates will be customer-oriented with strong business insight, capable of quickly grasping business needs and translating challenges into solutions. This role requires both strategic and detailed thinking, a proactive approach, and a deep understanding of leveraging social and digital media to influence business leaders and establish trust. You will collaborate closely with experienced professionals, laying a solid foundation for your personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities:

As a SAP iXp Intern in Services Sales, you will:

  • Generate and qualify leads utilizing social selling and digital communication tools effectively.
  • Regularly assess the pipeline and lead progression, assisting the sales team in maintaining pipeline quality.
  • Support opportunity development and nurturing efforts.
  • Re-engage stagnant opportunities to reactivate them in the sales cycle, planning activities in close collaboration with sales executives for optimal opportunity acceleration.
  • Perform data entry in CRM systems and assist in sales activities to prepare proposals for clients.
  • Support demand generation and marketing events.

  • Proficiency in English, with a preference for knowledge of Spanish.
  • A clear interest in pursuing a sales career post-graduation.
