Job Role Summary

The Estimate Control Engineer, Master will be responsible for preparing highly complex budgets and technical proposals for engineering projects in the mining sector. This role involves defining commercial and technical strategies during bidding processes, ensuring the competitiveness and feasibility of proposals.

  • Prepare detailed budgets for engineering and construction projects in the mining sector (greenfield and brownfield).
  • Develop technical proposals aligned with client requirements and company standards.
  • Analyze bid documents, terms of reference, and technical specifications, identifying risks, opportunities, and project scope.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Civil, Mining, Mechanical, or related fields).
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in areas such as Project Management, Cost Engineering, or similar (preferred).
  • Solid experience (minimum of 10 years) in cost estimation and technical proposal development in the mining sector.
