Job Title: Marketing Channel Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Channel Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing channel marketing strategies to drive business growth and expand market share.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the channel ecosystem and be able to translate technology features into marketing propositions that result in sales. You will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement channel marketing strategies to achieve business objectives
- Set channel program goals and develop execution activities to achieve these goals, monitoring, recording and analyzing ROI
- Develop positive working relationships with channel partners to generate loyalty
- Evaluate and improve existing channel marketing strategies
- Implement channel campaigns to expand market share and pursue growth targets
- Deploying channel marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing team, senior managers, and other departments
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new products and enhancements
- Manage expenses within allotted marketing budget
- Plan and support product launch events, sales training, and other marketing events
- Understanding of the channel ecosystem, working knowledge of the fundamentals of technology preferred
- Ability to translate technology features into marketing propositions that result in sales
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently or collaboratively
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Negotiation skills
- Organization and priority setting skills and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Spanish and Portuguese
- Ability to take actions and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
- Bachelor's degree (B.A, Marketing, Economics or Engineering)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in channel, marketing or trade marketing role
- Available to travel locally and internationally (30% to 50% of the time)
- Sales experience is a plus
