Job Description:
  • Develop a procurement strategy to achieve regional goals aligned with global objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality, timely, and cost-effective solutions for LATAM stakeholders.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement network effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with group sites/affiliates in LATAM to ensure strategic alignment and process standardization.
  • Manage the procurement portfolio, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Develop and execute a multi-year plan, working closely with stakeholders to support quality, delivery, costs, and risks objectives.
  • Review and provide feedback on action plans for Rio, Sao Paulo, and LATAM affiliates.
  • Represent the procurement team in projects and business reviews as required.
  • Monitor and analyze procurement spend to optimize categorization within the spend cube.
  • Partner with global procurement to define target vendor lists and suppliers' footprints.
  • Lead the acquisition process for materials and services following strategic sourcing principles.
  • Negotiate direct materials (mainly packaging) and indirect spends (services and materials for indirect purchases).
  • Pursue continuous cost reduction through new supplier development and renegotiations.
  • Deliver savings on categories under management aligned with procurement team targets/objectives.
  • Support local internal customers, providing follow-up and adding value to their areas.
  • Present KPIs to stakeholders and maintain comprehensive contract management systems at all times.
