Senior Property Reinsurance Leader

This is a strategic leadership opportunity to drive the growth and transformation of our property facultative business in Brazil and the South Cone region.

As a seasoned reinsurance professional, you will lead and develop the underwriting strategy for this market, with full profit and loss responsibility and ownership of client relationships.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive underwriting plan to drive profitable business growth while maintaining underwriting quality and portfolio value;
  • Lead and empower the local team, promoting professional development and collaboration across business units and functions;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients and promote innovation through new business solutions and products;
  • Supervise and steer the property facultative portfolio in Brazil and the South Cone region, ensuring alignment with our company's overall business objectives;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, brokers, and other business partners.
About You

We are seeking an experienced reinsurance leader with a proven track record in underwriting, sales leadership, and deal-making. You should have excellent knowledge of the Brazilian and South Cone markets, as well as a deep understanding of the reinsurance industry and its trends.

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in property and casualty reinsurance underwriting, with a strong focus on Latin America;
  • Proven track record as a successful sales leader and deal-maker, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex business environments;
  • Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, with additional languages an asset;
  • Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
