About the Role:

  • Lead the P&C Facultative business in Brazil with full P&L responsibility and client ownership.
  • Develop solutions corresponding to client needs and promote innovation through new products.
  • Implement sales and underwriting initiatives to position Swiss Re in the Brazilian market.
  • Supervise and steer the P&C Facultative portfolio in Brazil.
  • Lead and empower local teams, promoting professional development.
  • Collaborate across business units and functions to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in Property and Casualty reinsurance underwriting, including excellent understanding of the Brazilian and South Cone markets.
  • Knowledge of the Brazilian insurance regulatory environment.
  • Track record as a successful sales leader and dealmaker in originating new business.
  • Management skills in developing people, being a motivational mentor who can unlock potential in others.
  • Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, additional languages appreciated.
