Job Title: Help Desk Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Specialist to join our team. As the primary point of contact for end-users, you will play a pivotal role in serving as an IT Business Partner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional IT support to local offices and remote workers worldwide, interfacing daily with technical staff, working on assignments and delivering services to end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective IT support to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Monitor corporate infrastructure, assisting in its growth and expansion.
  • Build, set up, maintain, implement, and troubleshoot technology issues related to laptops, desktops, servers, and systems affecting end-user productivity.
  • Support both Windows and Mac systems in the corporate environment, including desktops, laptops, servers, and systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • College degree in Computer or Systems Science or Engineering, or 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, prioritization, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of at least two of the following skill-sets required within IT Operations: Windows, Mac, Linux, Networking, Scripting, Automation, Application troubleshooting, and backup.
  • Systematic problem-solving approach with the ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and make progress in areas with high ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, willingness to learn new procedures and tasks.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Guide users in utilizing self-service IT resources, such as the ticketing system and knowledge base.
  • Provide event support, setting up AV and live stream equipment.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting tasks and operating system support on Microsoft Windows OS, Mac OS X, and network services.
  • Mobile device setup and post-installation support.
  • Create IT instructions.
