Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Controls Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Governance department, you will play a vital role in improving the efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness of business processes.

Your responsibilities will include developing, supporting, and leading initiatives/projects focused on improving internal controls, risk assessment, and compliance auditing. You will also be responsible for maintaining knowledge of global/market/local policies and procedures, and designing, developing, and implementing local policies and procedures based on best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Assessment & Key Controls Review: Timely coordination/execution of local ICS testing/Global Control Self-Assessment (GCSA) of key controls, including mandatory documentation in TM+ and remediation of all identified control deficiencies in collaboration with local Senior Management.
  • Compliance Auditing: Conduct retail store compliance audits to ensure adherence/compliance to defined controls, policies, and procedures, analyze/report findings, and ensure remediating actions/action plans are followed by Retail Management.
  • Reporting: Produce IC&RP monthly report to give local senior management visibility of the risk, findings, and opportunities. Immediately communicate major local control deficiencies to LAM.
  • Investigations: Conduct retail investigations and complete timely reports/findings to the relevant stakeholders utilizing the Resolver platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance and risk management principles.
