Electrical Design Expert

The Opportunity:

As an electrical design expert, you will join our team and contribute to the successful execution of our technical roadmap.

Your Background:

  • Master's degree in engineering with a focus on electrical engineering or similar.
  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical design, condition assessment, and testing of power transformers is highly desirable.
  • Advanced numerical simulations (e.g. magnetic or dielectric simulations) and proficiency in using commercial simulation tools (Ansys, Infolytica, etc.) are valued.
  • Proven experience in transformer condition assessment and testing is required.
  • Spirit of innovation and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Excellent teamwork abilities in international teams with strong interpersonal skills.
  • High level of self-motivation and a collaborative, structured, problem-solving approach with strong communication skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written English; other languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead standardization projects, propose and develop new engineering concepts around new services, and simulate their performance in real pilots.
  • Organize prototyping and testing activities to validate new and existing transformer services.
  • Develop standard policies, instructions, and training materials to ensure effective implementation of targeted processes from engineering, quality, and knowledge transfer perspectives.
  • Provide support to team members and local units when needed.
  • Participate in complex operations activities.
  • Collaborate globally with research teams and engineers from various groups.
