Job Title: Engineering Lead, Back-end

We're seeking an experienced and skilled engineering leader to join our team. This individual will be responsible for leading a global team of engineers, designers, and product managers to build innovative technology products for the alternative investments space.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience releasing commercial products or high-volume transaction systems. Expert knowledge of Java programming is essential, as well as proficiency in working across the stack including JavaScript and frameworks like Bootstrap, CoffeeScript, AngularJS, and React/Redux.

A strong foundation in OOP, REST, messaging systems, and streaming data is required. The ideal candidate will also have a comfortable working style, being able to navigate complex technical issues and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Bonus points will be awarded for experience with Play Framework, Akka, and Lagom, as well as previous entrepreneurial ventures or early-stage start-up experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a global team of engineers, designers, and product managers to build innovative technology products for the alternative investments space.
  • Develop and implement software solutions that meet business requirements and deliver high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Requirements:
