The role of a Quality Assurance Specialist involves ensuring that all aspects of a company's quality management system meet regulatory requirements and industry standards. This includes conducting audits, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining accurate documentation.

  • Quality Management System (QMS): Experience with QMS implementation and maintenance in a regulated environment is essential for this position.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with relevant regulations such as ISO 13485, MDR, RDC 751/2022, RDC 665/2022, and MDSAP is required.
  • Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • CAPA Management: Conduct medium complexity deviation investigations using structured methods, develop and monitor CAPA plans, and analyze trend data to prevent recurrence.
  • Training and Development: Provide training on QMS procedures and regulatory requirements, ensure competency matrix is up-to-date, and conduct impact analyses of operational changes on mandatory trainings.
  • Schedule Maintenance: Develop and maintain calibration schedules, verify service provider certificates, and assist in controlling critical instruments.
  • Supplier Management: Participate in supplier qualification and monitoring, support supplier audits, and compile data for supply chain performance indicators.
