Category Development Specialist

A seasoned category expert is needed to develop and execute national category plans that drive sales growth and brand visibility. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of shopper behavior and market trends, as well as excellent analytical and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a strong category understanding through market research and analysis.
- Coordinate category plans for multiple brands, ensuring alignment with consumer activities and market trends.
- Monitor business performance using detailed analysis from various sources and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead the S&OP process from a category perspective, building annual volumes with marketing teams and ensuring plan accuracy.
- Develop temporary and permanent POS materials that effectively communicate brand messages and drive sales.
- Generate selling stories and arguments to support events, innovations, and special executions.
- Manage promotions investment versus plan, ensuring correct phasing and utilization.
- 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
- Superior degree in Administration, Engineering, Communication, Advertising, or Marketing.
- Proven analytical and technical skills, with ability to manage stakeholders and projects.
